How Billing Works

Plutarc uses a prepaid balance model. You top up your account with credit (minimum £20), then deploy bots that consume balance at a per-hour compute rate. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or billing periods.

Stopping Your Bots

  • You can stop any bot at any time from the dashboard
  • When a bot is stopped, compute charges cease immediately
  • Open positions on your exchange are not automatically closed when a bot is stopped — you are responsible for managing any remaining positions on your exchange
  • Your unused balance remains in your account and does not expire

Balance Depletion

If your balance reaches zero while bots are running, a wind-down period of up to one hour begins automatically:

  • No new positions are opened during wind-down
  • Existing positions continue to be managed (exits, trailing stops)
  • After the wind-down period, bot instances are terminated and compute resources are deprovisioned
  • If you top up during the wind-down period, your bots resume normal operation automatically

Refunds

  • Compute usage that has already been consumed is non-refundable
  • Unused prepaid balance is non-refundable except where required by applicable law, or in cases where Plutarc terminates your account without cause
  • Balance credits do not expire — they remain available whenever you choose to deploy bots

Closing Your Account

  • You may close your account at any time via account settings or by contacting us
  • All running bots will be stopped and compute resources deprovisioned
  • Your strategy configurations, templates, and account settings are deleted on account closure
  • Payment and usage records are retained as required by law

Your Configuration Is Always Yours

As long as your account is active, your strategy configuration, component parameters, and templates are stored independently of your bot instances. Stopping a bot does not delete your configuration — you can redeploy at any time without rebuilding.
